Criel Mound
Criel Mound, is is the largest of approximately fifty conical type mounds of the Adena culture in an area west of Charleston, probably built between 250 and 150 BCE.

Grave Creek Mound entered the National Registry of Historic Places 1966 15 October.
South Charleston Mound South Charleston, Kanawha
South Charleston Mound entered the National Register of Historic Places 1970 15 October
Link to some other West Virginia mounds including: Cemetery Mound, Goff Mound, Linden Reynolds Farm Mound, St. Mary's Mound. The Criel and Grave Creek Mounds are noted here but the South Charleston Mound is not.
